Daikin Europe NV is the leading manufacturer and distributor of air conditioning equipment for residential, commercial & industrial use in Europe, Africa and Middle East.
The company's history starts in 1973 with the formation of Daikin Europe NV in Ostend as an assembly and distribution centre for its Japanese mother company, Daikin Industries Ltd.
Since those early days, Daikin Europe NV has grown progressively into an advanced and innovative air conditioning equipment production centre, adapted to the ever-widening needs of its customers.

In 1982, the company formed its first joint ventures in Belgium and Sweden, setting up Daikibel NV & Svenska Daikin AB. This was the start of a globalisation process that has since transformed Daikin Europe NV into a substantial European group with ten fully or partially owned subsidiaries and a powerful sales network of independent distributors across Europe.

Net sales: 722 M €
Operating profit: 53 M €
Net income: 30.3 M €
Total assets: 452.5 M €
Total equity: 185.5 M €

This represents a growth in turnover of more than 15% and a stable net profit.
